About
I am a multidisciplinary artist working primarily with a range of digital processes to create images, audio, installations, and immersive and augmented environments. My work explores the relationship between physical and digital versions of reality, and the interactions offered by technology as platforms for public participation. I am interested in the unique opportunities presented by the anomalies and glitches that surface through the various production processes employed in my artistic practice, particularly how they can reveal intriguing insights and parallels with the relationship between physical, digital and imagined realities. These disruptions can challenge our expectations and provoke us to question our assumptions about what is real, authentic, or valuable. My work examines the impact of technological innovation on the human experience, and how our interaction with technological tools shapes our culture, society, and individual identity. I completed my MA in Virtual and Augmented Reality in August 2021. My research investigated how immersive spaces can be used for artistic collaboration, with a focus on the creation of site-specific art in public space.
